Memory pieces is an ongoing project of images and image formats that investigate memory and space. The series is interested in the standard of contemporary metropolitan living in North America. Shot in a documentary style of photography, the work is a pastiche and reflection on the history of photography. The mixed media pieces are metaphors that illicit a collective sense of memory focusing on domestic scenes and imagery related to the sublime. These images explore the doubling inherent to photography and the materiality behind the world-building of photography.
